One Eyed cat: For this assignment I copy and pasted the eye of the cat. After copying and pasting, I flipped and free transformed it till it was in the same position to the cat’s other half face.
Ripped newpaper: For the part on the newspaper where I had to just copy paste the background. But it was hard getting Patty’s face identical to the other half. I copy and pasted that part of her face and then rotated it around to set it in the right position. I also used the blur and burn tool to smoothen things out so it doesn’t look fake.

1. If a 300 dpi and 72 dpi image is printed in the same size, the 300 dpi will come out to be more clearer because it is more detailed and contains more pixels/resolution. The 72 dpi image won’t come out as clear as it should be.
Corrected Answer: When printed out at the same size, a 300 dpi image would be more clearer than a 72 dpi image becuase the dots per inch would be more condensed, therefore created the image with more detail. With a 72 dpi image the dots per inch is 72. But with a 300 dpi image there are 300 dots per inch once again creating a more precise image.
2. A picture created at 1 dpi will be very unclear and blurry.
I used the lasso tool- magnetic.
I used the magic wand for this friut bowl.
1. For the combination tools I choose to use the magnetic lasso tool and the magic wand. In the beginning I used the magnetic lasso tool to clear most of the background, and later used the magic wand to clear the smaller left over pieces that I didn’t want in the picture.
2. I found the magnetic lasso tool the most efficient and helpful to use to clear backgrounds because it helped me get rid of most of the background pieces without any trouble.
3. The feather and modify tool enables me to expand and contract the background.
